Treme already started
Blue Bloods starts 1st week of October
Boardwalk Empire due soon.

Sky+ will be heavily used while I'm on holiday.

It's nearly here

and I'm not talking about the Isle of Man general election, no I'm talking about Las Vegas. I was so excited a couple of weeks ago I thought I might burst. I calmed down a bit especially when I heard someone from the same company as me will be flying out to Sin City on the same day. Don't need to be running into pains in the ass while I'm there. Luckily he's flying on a different airline from a different airport so not much chance of bumping into each other. I'll be enjoying a cold one in Bills while he'll be clearing immigration at Atlanta.

Part of my trip involves a road trip out to northern Arizona, Flagstaff and Sedona. I'm putting together a bit of a playlist for this. Just got my Creedence Clearwater Revival cd through the post, via Hoboken NJ for that American link, so a few of those tracks will make it onto that list.. Bad Moon Rising anyone? I'm a bit old fashioned and still like the cd rather than just down loading plus the 11 minute version of one song wasn't available as a download.

It's nearly time for part 2 of Billy Connolly's trip down Route 66. I hope he gets to Arizona next week otherwise I'll be there on the spot and won't need his show.

Hopefully in 4 weeks time I'll be sipping cocktails by the pool or atleast having the brew of the day in Starbucks. I just thought I'd share a couple of photos from my trip last year. The 1st one is Yosemite Falls in the Natioanl Park in California. The 2nd one is the view of Las Vegas travelling north on I15. After a hot day in the desert it was a welcome relief to see this mecca.
